More than 80 percent of wine production here is made up of red wines. The main variety is Sangiovese, which occurs in various local versions and taste. Sangiovese is a red Italian wine grape variety that got its name from the Latin sanguis Jovis, "the blood of Jupiter".
Tuscany capital, Florence, is home to some of the world’s most recognizable Renaissance art and architecture.
